The first problem with this article is the title. Nazi comparisons are almost always wrong. Save the Nazi comparisons for those who were involved in the slaughtering of millions of people. If it's just about people being controlling or close-minded or fundamentalist or just about anything else then pick another analogy.
Second problem is the photo at the top. It states:
"A protestor at the anti-lockdown rally in Berlin last month, making a heart sign while carrying a Nazi flag."
1. Protester is misspelled.
2. If you're going to caption a photo by accusing the person in the photo of carrying a Nazi flag, maybe you should make sure to use a photo in which the flag is unfurled so you can see what the heck flag it is?
3. The Nazi flag looks absolutely nothing like that whatsoever. It's block red with a huge black-and-white swastika on it. That flag is white and gray.
4. Does the flag in fact have a swastika somewhere on it? Maybe that's why they're labeling it as a Nazi flag. If so, I wonder if the person who wrote the caption is aware that the swastika is a symbol of peace used in India for literally thousands of years? Lots of hippies go to India, do yoga and follow Hinduism. Maybe they saw the swastika and assumed it was a Nazi flag. If only we could see the flag so we could know what the woman is actually advocating by carrying the flag.
Moving on...
Okay, I agree with his observations about the left wing New Age liberals who buy into the Qanon cult and think Trump is on some sort of light worker mission to rid the world of tyranny. In fact I find this to be one of the most fascinating, surreal and disturbing trends I've ever witnessed. But the rest of the article basically reads like this:
Nazis sometimes wore pants.
Hippies also sometimes wear pants.
Let's dive deeper into the fascinating connection between Nazis and hippies.
What he mentions is completely peripheral stuff. The Nazis weren't the Nazis because they had some strange spiritual beliefs. Every religion and spiritual paradigm is weird, especially if you don't believe in it. So what? That has nothing to do with Nazism really. The Nazis were the Nazis because they followed and supported a brutal egomaniacal dictator on his quest to take over the world and commit genocide against a race of people.
The topic of the Nazis and the occult is certainly a fascinating one, but to try and connect this with hippies is about as relevant as writing an article about their overlapping wardrobes or pointing out that hippies celebrate April 20th because it's 4/20, which also happens to be Hitler's birthday. Yeah whatever. Another fail with the Nazi comparison as I see it.
